CEO – Dr. Wanbing Frank Li

Dr. Wanbing Frank Li was born into abject poverty in a rural village in the Sichuan Province of southwestern China. As a boy he faced great adversity on his educational journey. After beating the 1 to 100 odds of graduating from high school, Frank attended Nanjing University, and majored in geochemistry. Immediately after graduation, he enrolled as a graduate student at the Chinese Academy of Science in Beijing. In 1984, he left China and continued his graduate studies at the University of Toronto, and later in the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He received his PhD in geology, and met his wife, Anna. In the summer of 1996, Frank received his calling from the Lord, and he has devoted his life to Christian ministry ever since.

Frank’s statement:

The Bible says: “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old is gone. And the new has come.” Christ has totally changed my life. Agape Way is about changing lives. First change our own life, then with the power from the Spirit of God, we lead people to seek the truth and be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ, so that God might change their lives as well. I am so glad that I am a part of this life change process in a visible (or tangible) way. I am energized by the prospective that God uses me to impact the life of other people and to improve the community.

It is such an honor and privilege to work with our board members, advisers, and other brothers and sisters in Christ, who love God and love Chinese people. Together in unity, we serve as instruments used by God to show His love and glory.

Co-Founder – Aijun Anna Li

Aijun Anna Li was born in the Southeast China in a factory village. Unlike Frank her family had enough to get by. As a child Anna was fortunate to be able to pursue an education. She had learned English in college, and then taught English in Chinese high schools for 8 years after graduating. Anna then moved to the United State to attend the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she earned her Masters degree in Special Education, and met Frank, her now husband. She then found the bible and felt called to Christianity, and to help share the good word with others.
